donating vehicles: Earth Day Contest (Closed)

Hey Guys. Thought it was time to do another contest and I finally came up with an idea. April 22, 2010 is Earth Day, and it's the 40th anniversary since this campaign began. I thought it was important to remind everyone to take some time to think about how we all can help protect Planet Earth. I think all too often we forget that everything we have comes from this magnificent planet and to be honest . . .we don't do enough to protect it. There are many simple changes everyone can employ to reduce their carbon footprint. 3 simple words come to mind: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. Reduce: Turn off water when brushing teeth, take a slightly shorter shower, use water saving settings on washers and dishwashers. Reuse: Try not to use disposable water bottles. Think about it . . . they just end up in a landfill. Reuse empty/used food containers for another purpose (storage of small items, or even clean them to store food again). Donate unused items . . . don't just throw them out! Recycle: Don't throw out items that can be recycled. Take a few seconds to separate paper, plastic, and cans from your regular trash.
